Hovercraft Studios enlisted Axiom Custom Products to realize their concept of a multilayered cityscape with iconic Portland landmarks represented in Google brand colors.
The window incorporated five TV screens looping playful animations along with hundreds of programmed LEDs and a lightbox backdrop that slowly shifted color over the course of the day.
With limited floor space and window access, I engineered window elements with consideration for installation and maintenance while concealing all electronics and wiring.
The tallest layers of the display were built on a sliding track system so front layers remained accessible for cleaning and future updates.
